Mr. Mosby, 84, has lived in Oakland for over 70 years. He helped build his current residence for his mama and now lives there with his wife of 40 years, their daughter and granddaughter. Like many men of his generation, he has a wealth of knowledge, love and stories and an enormous faith in our Heavenly Father. Whether you are blessed to spend a few minutes or several hours with him, you will quickly see his love of life, family and Jesus Christ. Along with his wife, a long-time employee of Disney World, they are content with their surroundings.Although additions have been added over the years, the OCC and JFH is committed to bringing the house up to today's standards and provide this faith filled family with a more functional floor plan, modern amenities and some of the comforts that we all take for granted in our own homes.
This project will take place over three days, Friday, April 15th - Sunday, April 17th. We will also provide curb appeal and some basic maintenance for the homes around the neighborhood by landscaping, carrying out general repairs and cleaning up the block. With large grills and volunteers, we will feed the community and fellowship all while working hard.
